1. Overview

Welcome to Conscious Diamond Direct (“Conscious Diamond Direct”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, any related mobile experiences, and any products and services we offer (collectively, the “Services”).

  • Carat weight, color, clarity, and other grading characteristics are based on information from gemological laboratories and other third‑party sources. Reasonable variations and tolerances may occur.
  • We do not guarantee that any product will meet your personal expectations beyond what is expressly stated in these Terms and in our written product descriptions.

We may change or discontinue products at any time without notice and may limit quantities offered to any person, household, or address.

4. Lab‑Grown and Natural Diamonds

Conscious Diamond Direct offers both lab‑grown and natural diamonds. Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • “Lab‑grown” or “laboratory‑created” diamonds are man‑made diamonds produced under controlled conditions and are chemically and physically similar to mined diamonds, but they are not mined from the earth.
  • Natural diamonds are mined from the earth and may exhibit natural inclusions or characteristics.
  • Certification, grading reports, or other documentation are provided by independent laboratories or suppliers. We are not responsible for changes in grading standards or differences of opinion among gemologists or laboratories.

You are responsible for reviewing product descriptions to confirm whether a product is lab‑grown or natural before purchase.

5. Orders and Acceptance

  • When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in that order.
  • We may accept, reject, or partially accept your order at our sole discretion, including due to product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or other issues.
  • Your order is not accepted, and we are not obligated to supply any products, until we send you an order confirmation or otherwise indicate acceptance in writing.
  • If we cannot accept your order, or if we cancel an order after payment, we will refund any amount you have paid for the affected items as your exclusive remedy.

By placing an order, you represent that you are purchasing products for personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

6. Prices, Taxes, and Payment

  • Prices are shown in the currency indicated on the site and are subject to change at any time without notice. The price in effect at the time you place your order will apply.
  • Unless we clearly state otherwise, listed prices do not include shipping, handling, insurance, taxes, customs duties, or other governmental charges. These amounts may be added at checkout and are your responsibility.
  • You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the payment method you provide for the full order amount, including all applicable charges. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or other errors and cancel or adjust affected orders, even after an order has been submitted or confirmed. If we do so after we have received payment, we will offer you the option to cancel or to proceed at the corrected price.

7. Shipping, Risk of Loss, and Delivery

  • Estimated delivery dates are only estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to carrier issues, customs clearance, weather, or other events beyond our control.
  • Risk of loss and title pass to you when we deliver the products to the carrier at the shipping point. After that, any loss or damage in transit is your responsibility, subject to any available shipping insurance or carrier claims.
  • You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not liable for lost or delayed shipments caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by you.

8. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

Our return, exchange, and cancellation rules are described in our separate Return & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Only that policy (as updated from time to time) governs whether and how you may return, exchange, or cancel an order.

Certain items—including but not limited to custom designs, engraved items, special orders, or items marked as final sale—may not be returnable or may be subject to additional conditions.

9. Warranties; Disclaimer

Except where we expressly provide a written warranty with a specific product, all products and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. Without limiting the foregoing:

  • We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error‑free, secure, or compatible with every device or browser.
  • We do not make any promises about the suitability, reliability, or accuracy of the Services or any content for any particular purpose.
  • Any descriptions, FAQs, or educational content we provide are for general information only and should not be taken as professional, financial, or legal advice.

If we provide a written product warranty (for example, a limited manufacturing‑defect warranty), that warranty will be subject to the terms stated with the product and will apply only in addition to, and not instead of, these Terms.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within a certain number of business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Exceptions

Certain items may not be eligible for return, including custom, personalized, resized, or final sale items. If an item is non-returnable, this will be stated on the product page or at checkout.
